Val is truly ostracized from the rest of his brethren. Retta has tried from time to time to bring him more into the DH circle, but the older Dark-Hunters refuse to forgive him for his past crimes. No one knows what brought him into our circle.

Lightning fast, and brutally frank, he never takes prisoners or comprises. After all, you can't bargain with the devil's right hand. That being said, he has a penchant for expensive clothes and popcorn. Unlike most people in the Dark-Hunter realm, he wears a long, white coat that is his trademark (those who know their history might find a significant clue to his identity by this). He has nothing to hide and takes pride in not being what other people expect. There is nothing he treasures more than the company of a willing female and a few hours of freedom from his duties.

Named for the grandmother of Eleanor of Aquitaine and born the daughter of a French actress and a French nobleman, Danger grew up on the stage. She loved her life and her parents until the French Revolution tore her world apart. Caught between the two warring factions, she refused to see the noble half of her family killed. Using her connections in the theater, she tried to snuggle her father and noble half-siblings to England. Her husband was the one who betrayed her into the hands of the Committee. She was killed trying to protect her small brother and sister from the guillotine. Since she has joined the Dark-Hunters, Danger has, shall we say, an attitude problem. She trusts no one and she has a very special place in her heart for children.

He was an abomination that should never have been allowed to be brought into the world. When his parents began to suspect his powers, his father tried to kill him. No one is quite sure what happened to either of his parents after that. Because of their brutality and extreme alpha natures, both the White Tiger and Snow Leopard branches of the Katagaria are all but extinct. Many believe Wren is the last of his kind on either side. Half-dead, he was taken to Sanctuary when he was barely more than a cub. The bears took pity on him, but with every passing year as he grows older, they are becoming more and more aware of his powers and strength. He is currently only forty-five which in our years makes him around the human age of twenty-two. A complete loner, he is carefully watched by all the Peltiers who fear what he might be capable of. Even Wren is afraid of himself and of ever discovering the true ferocity that lays within his beast's heart. For this reason, he has vowed to never mate and to stay far away from everyone.

He usually wears his hair long, but is known for pulling it back to stalk Daimons and Katagaria. He walks a shadowy line between two worlds and isn't accepted by either side. Sensual and aloof, he avoids relationships of any kind, except for physical. Unlike other Dark-Hunters he doesn't have the benefit of outliving his kinsmen. In fact, his father, younger brother and sister even live in Seattle not far from him, but because of the laws of both Hunterkind, they are never to associate. Not to mention the fact that his father not only denounced him for becoming a Dark-Hunter, but disowned him as well. He is classified as an exoristos which precludes any member of his clan from even speaking his name. Unlike most Dark-Hunters, he's much older physically. In his late thirties in human appearance, his actual age at death was 635. Given the laws of the Were-Hunter world, no one knows what made him crossover into the forbidden world of the Dark-Hunters. It's something he refuses to speak of--not that anyone ever really asks. He lives his immortality as an outlaw. He not only goes after Daimons, but any Katagaria male he can find. At times, he's even been known to go after the Arcadians. His only loyalty is to himself.
