A Cold Night’s Sleep by Vincent Diamond tells us about a retired cop, Sandy, who, after being injured on duty, has preferred the loneliness of a cabin. But sometimes loneliness keeps you cold on night, so when Tanner appears on his doorstep, Sandy is hunger for a warm touch. Even if for only one night.

Small Town Lawmen by C.B. Potts is a really interesting two point of view tale. Win thought are alternate with those of Dylan and all happen in one night: a sheriff from a small town and an investigator from the big city can be soul-mates?

Pat Down by James Buchanan is the story of Jeff who, some years after the high school, has the opportunity to fullfil his jerk off fantasy on Chris, the next door good guy that every girl wants, and maybe also some guys. Sure Jeff wants him.

Not only three stories of cops, but also three all happened in one night stories. Maybe with an "happily ever after" end, maybe not... you have to read them and use your fantasy to choose the end you prefers.

Tre storie brevi davvero differenti, tuttavia tutte molto interessanti.

A Cold Night's Sleep di Vincent Diamond racconta di un poliziotto in pensione, Sandy, che, dopo essere stato ferito sul lavoro, ha preferito la solitudine di una baracca in montagna. Ma qualche volta la solitudine ti fa sentire freddo la notte, così quando Tanner appare sulla sua porta di casa, Sandy è affamato di un caldo tocco. Anche se solo per una notte.

Small Town Lawmen di C.B. Potts è un racconto veramente interessante che mostra i due punti di vista dei protagonisti in contemporanea. I pensieri di Win sono alternati a quelli di Dylan e tutto accade in una notte: uno sceriffo di una piccola cittadina e un investigatore della grande metropoli possono essere anime gemelle?

Pat Dwon di James Buchanan è la storia di Jeff che, alcuni anni dopo il liceo, ha la possibiità di soddisfare le sue fantasie sessuali su Chris, il bravo ragazzo della porta accanto che ogni ragazza vuole, e forse anche qualche ragazzo. Sicuramente Jeff lo vuole.

Non solo tre storie di poliziotti, ma anche tre storie che si svolgono tutte in una notte. Forse con un finale "e vissero felici e contenti", forse no... dovete leggerle e usare le vostra fantasia per scegliere la fine che preferite.
