A decent 'fake" anime

You can tell that this series was made by either fans of anime or people who are making a shallow attempt to cash in on the anime epidemic from the 2000's. It's sequel series is much better than this. Legend of Korra is better than the original and I'm not just saying that from a woman's perspective but from a person who is skeptical of "mock anime" titles.

Brain Rot; Just Like The Original Cocomelon

Similar to the original Cocomelon, it is over stimulating and not good for a child’s brain development. I would avoid it.

Beautiful film from a legendary film studio

It’s a really good movie. It’s has some very heavy but necessary themes. The animation is amazing. The plot can be hard to follow and almost seems like two different movies which is understandable because the director Miyazaki changed some things last minute due to personal trauma with loss of a friend and co-worker. The film goes really hard with the concept of mortality, life, death, truth, lies, and lots of things. Worth it to see it in theaters but rewatches are necessary to understand everything going on.

Good movie for older children

I went and watched an early preview of this movie. It’s pretty good and I’m not sure what all the negative reviews and opinions are about. It’s an “adult” take on a classic toy that most kids don’t even play with anymore. This movie will definitely appeal more towards adults than children. However if a person wants to bring their kids along the adult humor will likely go right over their heads. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed it and my husband thought it was funny. I think he enjoyed more than me or our daughter. Just be aware that there are parts that might make parents of younger children uncomfortable.

Best Pokémon Game On The Switch Even With The Bugs

It’s buggy but it’s a vast improvement over the previous Switch games. It has this “fun” element that was absent from Sword/Shield and the Diamond and Pearl remakes. I also found them to be more enjoyable than the Legends Arceus game. Not as good as the Game Boy through DS era games (first five generations) but definitely a step in the right direction and equal to the best 3DS games. Hopefully the glitches get fixed. I personally haven’t experienced any glitches and only a little bit of frame rate drops playing Scarlet physical. I also have not downloaded the patch yet. Worth the $50 from Walmart from me. Performance may have something to do with the digital version or Switches that have a lot of memory used up.

Really silly and fun

Silly campy movie. Captures the feel of the 1960’s. I really liked it but not everyone else will.

Pandering cash grab of a movie that lacks any of the charm of the beloved character that the movie is based on. Watch Turning Red instead. It’s free.

Toy Driven Cash Grab

Poorly animated and scripted. Characters are annoying. The voice acting is very poorly done and sounds wooden. It seems to be a huge commercial for the over priced dolls. It tries to teach good moral values but ends up doing the exact opposite.

Best Games Since Heart Gold and Soul Silver

The games are very well made remakes despite what some critics and toxic Pokémon fans say. The games are mostly faithful remakes of the DS games Diamond and Pearl with some much needed improvements to the originals. They also fixed the EXP Share issue where you don’t get as much experience points if you are at a higher level so it’s not as easy to over level like the other Switch Pokémon games. They added a feature from the old DS games Heart Gold and Soul Silver where you can have your favorite Pokémon follow behind you. The Grand Underground fixed the issue of fire type Pokémon being scarce. Once you beat the game and have seen all of the Pokémon, there is a post game where you can battle the gym leaders at much higher levels. And once you capture Giratina and Heatran you can also battle the Pokémon League at very high levels. Champion Cynthia has a team of Pokémon that are all in their 80’s making her final team the strongest in the series and debunking the myth that the games are dumbed down and easy. There is also a way to get the original games music if you want to listen to the old DS music. And the games reward you for playing Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee and also Sword or Shield by giving you a free Mew and Jirachi early in the game. These games are so amazing and developer ILCA did an excellent job on the games. There is so much content. There’s the Ramanas Park where you can use Mysterious Shards found in the Grand Underground to encounter legendary Pokémon from the first 3 games. The only bad thing about the games (and it doesn’t bother me) is the lack of Pokémon after 2006-07 which is when the original Diamond and Pearl came out. This means that newer favorites like Yamper and Scorbunny are not in the games at the moment. You can catch everything else for a total of 493 Pokémon counting event Pokémon. All and all these aren’t perfect games but they are still very enjoyable.
