As the leader of an elite British group that hunts criminals of the magic world, Christian Wetherly comes to the U. S. undercover, posing as a British cop, to investigate a series of murders he suspects have been committed by a dark mage. Come capo di un gruppo di elite inglese che da la caccia ai criminali del mondo magico, Christian Wetherly arriva negli USA sotto copertura, fingendosi un poliziotto inglese, per indagare su una serie di omicidi che lui sospetta siano stati commessi da un mago oscuro. Non si aspetterebbe mai, tuttavia, di ritrovarsi intensamente attratto da un detective della polizia americano incaricato del caso. Christina ha a lungo combattuto i suoi desideri segreti e non li ha mai ammessi con nessuno. Ma Alec Anderson risveglia qualcosa in profondo dentro di lui che è difficile da ignorare.
